Brand Story

Our brand began with a passion for animals, needle, thread, and the belief that cruelty-free fashion could be achieved. Over thirty years ago, after sewing a luxurious faux fur coat for herself, Donna Salyers designed a sewing kit so others could do the same. Success followed passion and excellence, and Donna ushered in an exciting new era for the faux fur industry.

At Donna Salyers Fabulous Furs, we remain loyal to the true craftsmanship that goes into creating our products. Our fabrics and materials are carefully selected to ensure the finest luxury faux furs.

Our faux fur is made of the most natural looking, visually and texturally exquisite fabrics, sourced by industry experts and designed by our US-based team. Every piece in our collection receives personal attention, from the design table to the sewing room, from our hands to yours – including a rigorous 20-point quality inspection on every piece.

Sold in Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and other luxury boutiques and hotels throughout the country, we have raised the bar on the quality of faux fur in the market today.


Getting Started

Browse our gorgeous assortment of faux fur styles and products, then choose any variety of styles, sizes, and colors to create a $1250 minimum opening order. There is no minimum order requirement on reorders if you place at least one order every 12 months. If your account is inactive for more than one year, a minimum $600 order will be required to re-activate your account.

Before your first order can ship, we must have a copy of your re-seller tax certificate that applies to the state where you do business as well as any states that you ship to. Please email us a copy to wholesale@fabulousfurs.com.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email along with shipment updates and tracking numbers. Please review your order confirmation carefully to ensure accuracy and contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies.

A complimentary designer swatch ring is shipped upon request with every opening order to use as a selling tool in your store. Swatches included are from our core collection of home fabrics. Additional swatch rings are sold for $50 each. Contact us each July for a complimentary swatch pack update for the new season.

Please note zip code protection is not offered at this time.

We do not accept personal use or ‘gifting’ orders under your wholesale account. Should you decide to place an order of this nature, we appreciate your discretion and limit to this activity.

Donna Salyers Fabulous-Furs reserves the right to cancel your wholesale account at our discretion with or without notice. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time.


Trade Accounts

To support our interior designers who sell our home products, but are unable to reach our $1250 opening order threshold, we offer a trade discount of 25% off retail prices on home products. A re-seller tax certificate from the state(s) in which you ship to will also be required. A swatch ring is available to trade customers for $50.

Access to the Fabulous Furs wholesale website should not be shared. All orders are reviewed to ensure they are for resale, commercial or hospitality purposes. Please note that you will be asked to sign in with a user name and password when you visit our site.


Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. No checks or COD’s accepted. Payment by wire transfer requires a $1000 order minimum. Please contact us for details.

Net 30 terms are considered for accounts that have an annual spend of $35,000 or more. A credit application will be required; please reach out to us to discuss this option if relevant. A minimum order total of $500 is required to receive an invoice, otherwise pre-payment by credit card will be required. A late fee of 1.5% per month will be charged on all overdue invoices. An invoice is sent to all customers with credit terms upon shipment of orders. Re-orders will not ship until past due accounts are paid in full.



Return & Exchange Policy

If there are any issues with your shipment, please contact us immediately and we will be happy to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.


  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of shipment delivery, please contact us by email or phone to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • After 30 days, no returns or exchanges are accepted, including defective goods.
  • Returns will not be accepted without an RA#.
  • Write the RA# on the outside of your return shipment and where indicated on the packing slip.
  • If you wish to exchange the item(s) being returned for different product(s), please request the exchange when we issue your RA#. Exchange items will be shipped once the returned items are received. If you do not want to wait for the return to be processed, you may place a new order and your account will be credited once we receive the return.
  • All items must be returned in the original packaging and condition with tags and labels attached.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Credits are usually visible on your account within 10 business days once the return is processed, depending on your credit card company.
  • Custom or personalized items, cut yardage, items with labels removed and shipping and handling charges are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We do not work on consignment and will not refund any unsold merchandise.
  • Third party returns will not be accepted.
  • Return shipments that do not follow the terms stated above will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Online Selling

We allow the use of our lifestyle and product photography to be used on your business website and social media channels. Click here for a Photo Release application. Photos will be shared upon approval!

There are just three (3) requirements:

  1. Be an active customer in good standing.
  2. Only photographs of items you have purchased may be requested. You may not post images of items you do not stock.
  3. All items must be listed at or above our MSRP if you are advertising them on your business website/social media channels.


Restrictions for online selling:

  • Amazon, eBay or similar third-party shopping and auction websites are not permitted for resale of our products.
  • PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising related to our brand is forbidden. Any brand related term (such as Donna Salyers, Donna Salyers Fabulous-Furs, Fabulous-Furs, or Fabulous Furs) are never to be bid on as keywords in any paid search network, including but not limited to Google Adwords, BING, etc. This includes all derivatives, misspellings and/or phrases that include trademarked properties. All violations will be policed and reported for termination with search engines immediately.

Shipping

Shipping costs are based on a sliding scale of order total:


  • $0-$2,000 – 10% of order total (or $15, whichever is greater)
  • $2,001-$4,000 – 8% of order total
  • $4,001-$6,000 – 6% of order total
  • $6,001+ – shipping costs will be quoted on an individual order basis

Please note that a packing slip is included in every shipment as well as seasonal promotional materials. Shipping is provided by UPS Ground, and expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. Please contact us for more details.

Drop shipping is offered only in special exception cases. Please note there is a $10 handling fee per address, per order. The handling fee covers the removal of pricing on the packing list as well as seasonal promotional materials. When placing orders on-line, please select the Drop Ship checkbox on the checkout page for each order.

If you are shipping to an out-of-state address, you will be required to provide the sales tax exemption form for the state in which you are shipping. Click here for a link to all forms by state. International shipping is available. Contact us for information and requirements.


Special Labeling

Private labeling is available for larger quantity orders on a case-by-case basis. Labels must be provided. Please contact us for more details and requirements.

Upon request, we will also remove labels from throws or pillows (not apparel or accessories) and ship in blank packaging (no logo throw bags). To streamline production, all orders with labels removed will be considered custom, which generally takes about 4-6 weeks to produce. A 10 piece minimum per sku (same color and size) of throws or pillows is required for this service to be performed at no additional charge. For fewer than 10 pieces, or quantities not in multiples of 10, a $10 per piece charge will be applied. Removal of labels may not be available in the height of the season (October-January) depending on our production schedule, so early submission of orders is recommended. Please be sure to mark your orders with "Remove Labels." Any orders that are not clearly marked will be sent with Fabulous Furs labels attached. Items which have labels removed are not eligible for return.


Pricing

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Products may also be discontinued at any time. Please contact a member of our wholesale team or check our wholesale website (wholesale.fabulousfurs.com) before ordering to verify current pricing and stock. We are not liable for discontinued or out of stock items.

You will find the MSRP for each style listed next to the wholesale price in our catalog, as well as on the website.

Retail prices are left to the discretion of each buyer, please see the Online Selling section regarding conditions for selling DSFF products online.
