Sable Signature Knee-Length Faux Fur Coat

I received my coat today, and I have to say its the most luxurious thing I have ever had.I really feel like a very wealthy woman. Thank you Donna for helping those of us that can't afford the real thing feel like we can.

Very warm stylish and very attractive on. This is an absolutely gorgeous coat very well-made. Took me a while to figure out the snaps in the front but after I did I like it better than your new normal hook and Eye closures. Very well-made. Bought my mother the same in sable and I'm very torn in which I like better the black or the stable.

Have a brown "sable" that I purchased in 2014 in Florida when I was stationed there; brought it with me to Alaska, and I wore it to the Iditarod this past March. Many people complimented me on it and I smiled a little smugly, because not only did it keep me super warm, but it truly looks real to the untrained eye. I will admit I was worried this coat might not fit well with my curvy figure but I am blown away by how it fits like a glove! Very flattering! I am a size 14-16 and the XL fits perfectly. I'm not a fan of hook closures either, but on this coat these work very well. If I have to do any quick sudden bending (like picking up my small dog outside) l hold my other hand over the hook at my hips, and that keeps it from popping open. That may sound strange, but other reviewers have mentioned hook closures (on various DS FF coats) not staying closed, but that's my solution. And it's only when putting strain on that area of the coat. THIS knee-length Sable coat is my absolute FAVORITE of the several fab fur DS coats I have purchased over the last 10yrs. It's not too bulky, it is a beautiful color & texture, and it keeps me warm on frosty days while I'm walking my pomeranian. And it works for most situations - a classy event, casual dog walks, or even to the grocery store. The only coat I wear more often is my short, zip up, hooded fab fur jacket that is black sheared mink. BOTH are gorgeous coats by Donna Sawyers FFurs, and I get compliments everytime I wear them. You won't regret buying either of these :)

Had to return,much to bulky on top,and sleeves were to long. Sorry to say it made look quite dumpy. But I do recommend the Vests,I own 2.

I have wanted to buy this coat for 2 years and finally decided to give myself a post-Christmas present. Alas, the straight up and down fit made the shoulders too wide and hip too tight for me. I have two of Donna's other stroller coats, both size small, in leopard and black. I sized up to medium for this one, but still didn't work for me. If your hip measurement is the same as your bust, it should work for you. My other concern was that the hooks were not as secure on this coat as on others. Too loose and widely spaced.
