Our "Legend of the Faux" is a throw-back to the late 80's and early 90's when ladies-who-lunch on NYC's Fifth Avenue were dressed head to toe in full-length Mink and Sable. Style icons dripped with furs and jewels and Fabulous-Furs became the go-to source for movie, TV and Broadway costume designers. Recalling those exciting, heady times, we re-imagined our legendary Sable coat for our Luxe Collection, piling on enough gems and jewels to make Dynasty's Alexis Carrington smile. With power-style ruling the day, we tailored the lightly-padded shoulder and tapered the waist for unlimited flattery. The hand-worked Amber giant gems and chunky crystals encircling the face-framing standup collar embellish the tailored welt pockets as well. A bust dart and concealed European fur hooks provide a clean, uncluttered finish to this full-length 47" Sable coat that started the faux fur revolution. Cheers to new legends!
